Lessons Offered... Join me on a musical journey and share making music with this wonderful instrument. In this difficult economic time, I have created a variety of ways to take lessons. It is always best to have a private lesson one-on-one. However I am excited to offer DUETS, which creates a more affordable, and musically satisfying approach.
Pedal and Lever regulation by Lyon & Healy/Salvi certified technician Karen Gottlieb is available at Austin Harp Studios.

I love to teach. Over the past 40 years it has been my pleasure to teach the harp to children from a very young age all the way through those who are young at heart. Many of my students have won local and regional competitions, performing concertos with area youth symphonies as well as going on to professional careers including lawyers, mothers, an astrophysicist, a graphics designer and some who have gone on to professional harp careers. It is my studio philosophy to teach the joy in playing this musical instrument to anyone. My dream to have a studio in the heart of Edmonds is here. This is a wonderful arts community. Austin Harp Arts offers sales and rental harps, strings, accessories and music to make your harp dreams come true.
Karen Gottlieb, Lyon and Healy Guild Harp Technician was here twice this year and she will be back this spring and again in the early fall.
We are very lucky to have such a fine harpist, friend and technician come to help keep our harps in shape. Karen is a graduate of University of Washington and studied with Pamela Vokolek and Lynne Palmer.
